FAQ

DV-PUBLIC-NOTE · Service boundary questions

Plain answers before you use DealsVector.

DealsVector is an independent buyer-side discovery, monitoring, comparison, and screening layer. It is not brokerage, regulated advice, or a marketplace.

Is DealsVector a marketplace?

No. DealsVector does not own marketplace inventory, sell businesses, control seller relationships, negotiate transactions, provide escrow, or replace source marketplaces.

Does DealsVector sell businesses?

No. Source marketplaces retain listing ownership, seller relationships, transaction processes, negotiation, and completion workflows.

Does DealsVector recommend what I should buy?

No. DealsVector classifies opportunities against your stated criteria and evidence gaps. It does not tell you that a business is objectively good or that you should buy it.

Where do listings come from?

Current live coverage is supported Empire Flippers listings. Additional marketplaces are added only where access and customer-facing use are permitted.

Do I still need to do due diligence?

Yes. DealsVector is research support. Buyers remain responsible for independent financial, legal, operational, technical, tax, and commercial diligence before making acquisition decisions.

What is Explorer?

Explorer is the planned free front door for answering: "I have £X, what can I actually buy?" It will show supported factual listings, exact matches, near matches, evidence gaps, and source links. The public UI is coming soon.

What is Radar?

Radar is planned monitoring: save acquisition criteria and receive alerts when new matches, near matches, price changes, or relevant listing-status changes appear where source policy permits. It is coming soon and is not active today.

What is Snapshot?

Snapshot is planned one-off comparison for a small set of opportunities you have already found. It is expected to compare normalized facts, fit/conflict, evidence gaps, source links, and reusable PDF/CSV outputs. It is coming soon.

What is Mandate Desk?

Mandate Desk is the current flagship paid service: one documented, human-supervised screen of the supported current market against a confirmed buyer mandate.

What exactly do I receive?

You receive the reviewed opportunity set, Pass Log, shortlist where applicable, source links, evidence labels, concise candidate notes, decision bottleneck, and verification questions.

Why not use ChatGPT?

Capable AI can analyse an individual listing. DealsVector's workflow assembles the supported opportunity set, normalises inconsistent facts, applies one buyer brief consistently, keeps an auditable rejection record, preserves provenance, and returns a shortlist plus Pass Log.

Why not browse Empire Flippers myself?

Empire Flippers provides inventory. DealsVector applies your criteria consistently across supported current listings and documents what failed, what survived, and what remained unresolved.

What sources do you currently cover?

Current live coverage is supported Empire Flippers listings. Additional sources are added only where access and customer-facing use are permitted.

What if nothing fits my criteria?

A sparse or empty shortlist is a valid outcome. You still receive the screened opportunity set, rejection reasons, evidence-insufficient cases, and the decision logic behind the result.

Is this investment advice?

No. DealsVector provides acquisition research and triage. It is not investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, broker representation, financial verification, valuation certification, or a purchase recommendation.

Do you take broker commission?

No. Mandate Desk is a fixed-price research service. DealsVector does not act as a broker or seller representative for this service.

Is £249 recurring?

No. Mandate Desk is a £249 one-off service. No subscription or ongoing plan is created.

Does £249 mean DealsVector keeps searching until I buy?

No. £249 buys one defined Mandate Desk screen at one defined point in time. Ongoing monitoring belongs to Radar, which is separate and coming soon.

Are marketplace or referral relationships allowed to influence ranking?

No. Filtering, search order, exact-match logic, near-match logic, and fit classification must remain independent of any future referral relationship.

What information is verified versus claimed by the marketplace or source?

Source facts are treated as source-provided information and labelled with provenance. DealsVector calculations, mandate interpretations, inferences, and unknowns are separated. Missing or unverified evidence remains an evidence gap.

When do I pay?

You submit your mandate first, then review the summary. Payment is taken through Stripe Checkout only after that review step.

What happens after payment?

Stripe webhook verification marks payment as received. You receive a confirmation page and, where transactional email is enabled, a confirmation email. DealsVector then begins the screen.

How is the completed screen delivered?

V1 delivery is email-based: the completed screen is sent to the submitted email address as an attachment or secure link, with the order reference included.

What if something in the report is unclear?

Contact support@dealsvector.com with the order reference. Delivery marks completion of the purchased Mandate Desk service, but support remains available for unclear points and statutory rights are unaffected.

Ready for the paid screen?

Submit criteria, review the mandate, then choose whether to pay.

£249 one-off. No subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe.
